What is a Detox?

Every day we are exposed to toxic elements such as preservatives, artificial flavors, chemicals from medications, cigarettes, alcohol, pollution, synthetic hormones, among many others.

A detox is a way to help our body eliminate these toxins, helping it to carry out its purification process naturally.

How does our Detox plan work?

It consists of replacing the intake of solid foods for a period of time (1, 3 or 5 days) with fresh juices of vegetables, fruits, seeds and superfoods made using cold press technology.

Our plans have been developed by experienced nutritional coaches so they are designed so that you don't starve trying.

Tips

The juices are fresh, they have no preservatives , so they should always be refrigerated.

The cooler is only to transport them and keep them cold for a maximum period of 4-6 hours with cooling gel. You can refreeze it to keep the juices cold if you need to transport them.

IMPORTANT: If you suffer from any illness, take medication, suffer from hypoglycemia or diabetes, are pregnant, breastfeeding or are a minor, you must be accompanied by a health professional when doing this program.

Overtime - During Detox

At the beginning of the day:

Take a cup of warm water with 1 lemon. It will help you improve your digestion, it is a diuretic, it cleanses the liver, it alkalizes your system and helps fight cravings due to its pectin content.

During the day:

Hydrate

Drink plenty of water or make an alkaline drink: 2 liters of water, 1 lemon, ¼ teaspoon of baking soda and ¼ teaspoon of sea salt.

Solid food:

The content and mixture of the juices are designed to obtain the necessary nutrients and not decompensate. If you are very hungry or anxious, eat cucumber, jicama, carrots, a handful of walnuts or peanuts, even a salad without animal protein. If more energy is required, ½ cup of oats soaked in warm water.

Slow down the pace

Don't overdo it. Remember to leave this space to be calm, choose an activity that is not high impact, such as yoga, running for 30 minutes or a very light weight routine.

Detoxify your mind:

Try meditating when starting or ending your day. You don't have to be an expert, just focus on your breathing and close your eyes. Tip: download a guided meditation.

Detoxify your emotions:

Positive thoughts increase your mood, and tend to generate peace of mind and happiness in your life.

Post Detox

When you finish your program, gently incorporate foods into your diet to feel better.

Day 1: Eat light; includes many fruits, vegetables and salads. Try not to eat animal protein.
Day 2: Integrate legumes, whole grains and vegetable protein such as quinoa and soy.
Day 3: onwards: reintroduce animal protein such as fish and chicken.

Frequent questions

  • It all depends on your body, your pace of life and diet, if you have never done a detox, and you want to feel the effects of cleansing your body, we recommend 3 days.

    If you have already done it before and consider yourself an expert on the subject, we recommend the 5-day one, but if you still have some doubts or perhaps even a little fear, you can start by trying a day to see how you feel. Later you can do the program for 3 or 5 days so that you can truly feel its benefits.

  • If you like green juices or want a slightly deeper detox, we recommend the Detox Greener, but if you want a little more varied and well-known flavors we recommend the Detox Beginner, we are sure that you will love either of the two. We put a lot of effort into making them delicious and nutritious.

  • We make each of the juices with almost a kilogram of vegetables (on average 60% vegetables/40% fruit) so they are very consistent and have a great load of nutrients, however you should know that to obtain a real benefit we must make a little effort.

    If you usually eat a lot, it is likely that at least during the afternoon of the first day and part of the second you will feel hungry or want to bite something. To avoid this, it is necessary to stay well hydrated, drink a glass of water between each juice, drink your juices at the specified times and do not think about food all day, you will be able to control it perfectly.

  • We will send you a guide where we specify which juices you should drink and at what times, the first one starts at 8:30 a.m. and the last one at 9p.m. We also include several recommendations for things you can do during and after the detox to make the process as easy as possible and maximize the benefits.

  • You may experience certain symptoms that may be annoying, at least during the first day, the most common are: headache, dizziness and fatigue. Be patient, the discomfort will pass and you will do something good for your body.

    Advice : Don't be suggestive, many people feel spectacular from the first day.

  • The idea is that we let the digestive system rest while we nourish it with juices, and thus the body itself can do its cleaning function more efficiently. However, if you suffer from anxiety during the program, you can eat some chopped vegetables such as cucumber. , carrot or jicama.

  • If you are pregnant, first of all, congratulations! It is important that you know that you need a special diet based on a certain number of calories, so we do not recommend that you do a detox program, what we do recommend is our juices. as a complement to your daily meals as they will give your body a great load of nutrients, easily and quickly, essential for your health and that of your baby.

  • If you can exercise if it is already part of your daily routine, we only recommend that during this period you try to moderate yourself a little, lower the intensity and not demand so much from your body, since you will consume fewer calories than you normally consume.

  • Preferably not, however if you can't control the urge, just have a cup without sugar or substitute Stevia, no cream or milk!

  • Although you can lose weight, this is not the objective of the program, we suggest you think about how you can use these special days to start or continue a healthy lifestyle and eating habits.

  • The day after the program you should choose light and hydrating foods, we recommend fruits and salads with all types of fresh vegetables. Your digestive system has been resting so you must give it time to fully reactivate and progressively incorporate denser foods. A couple of days later you can incorporate foods higher in proteins and fats.

  • We recommend that you do it after a period of high consumption of processed foods, soft drinks, alcohol or coffee; when you feel inflammation in your body, indigestion and digestive problems, difficulty sleeping, lack of energy, fatigue, among other symptoms. If you eat a balanced diet, you can do a weekly or monthly detox for 1 day as maintenance and one for 3 to 5 days every 3 months.
